Massive thanks for your support with our move to Timberhill, and the opening of our brand new exclusively gluten free café

We’ve been open at Timberhill since 2nd January, and we would really like to thank you all for your amazing support, for bearing with us whilst we find our feet, and for spreading the word.

We moved the shop in from our old premises on 15th January, so all of our stock is in the City Centre – if you haven’t been in, we urge you to pop upstairs, check out the new space, and lovely building that we have here.

The company began with just Louisa and Tony, we are gluten and wheat free ourselves, and we got increasingly frustrated with food available, we wanted to offer choice again to people so opened our first shop on the ringroad in 2014 – now we have an ever growing team here at Timberhill, they’re a dedicated bunch and are always happy to help, just ask if you need anything.

At the moment we have a café on the ground floor, and shop on the first floor – and EVERYTHING is gluten free! Including lots of dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options too of course. We also have plans to open up the 2nd/top floor for pre-booking as a function/meeting/workshop/afternoon tea room by the end of the summer – watch this space for more info.  If you are disabled or need assistance with your shopping, then we are happy to personally shop for you too.

With your help we would also like to put chairs and tables out the front of the building, read on for more…..

OUR CAFÉ MENU

is now available from our website NORFOLKGLUTENFREE.CO.UK

Picture this – a cold beer in hand, sitting in the sunshine whilst enjoying a light brunch….something that most people take for granted, but if you are Coeliac or have to follow a gluten free diet this is much harder to do – and we would love to offer people that opportunity!

Help us to get seating outside in time for the summer, and enjoy a drink or two too!

We would really love to put outdoor seating outside of our café so that we can enhance the experience for customers, but we need your help towards the license application with the council, and to fund chairs and tables.

Do you have a few pounds to pledge? We’d love to get your support and get outdoor seating before the summer.

We have some great rewards on offer, including a free meal, tickets to one of our special gluten free Kickstarter Summer BBQs, or even social media promotion of your business.

We’ve got some great local beers, wines and spirits lined up to sell both to take away, and to enjoy with us whilst you shop, or have lunch with friends; and we may even host some special beer and wine tasting evenings too – let us have your ideas!

Remember if we don’t meet our target then we don’t get the funds….every penny counts, and rewards start from just £5…

With your help and support we can make the project a great success!

We are open on Good Friday, and Easter Saturday, but having a well earned rest for family time on Easter Sunday and Monday

There will be no fresh bread, pie or cake deliveries on Tuesday, but we really look forward to seeing many of you over half term.

We’ve teamed up with Pepperell’s meats

to bring you a great range of gluten free meat products – a full list is available from our website – give us a call or email to order with us, and collect next time you’re in the city.

Also if you live near on in Harleston you can collect our produce from Pepperells – just drop us a line to order!
